- First, log in to your computer with admin rights.
- Click the Avast icon available in the system tray.

- In the interface window, click the Menu tab available at the top right corner.
- Choose the Settings option.
- Click the Protection icon followed by Core Shields.
- Now, the Core Shields window will open.
- Scroll down the window and select the Configure shield settings option.
