- Type msconfig in the Search section and click the OK button.
- When the System Configuration window appears, navigate to the Boot tab.
- Checkmark the Safe Boot option and click on the OK button.
- Now, reboot your system and verify if the Avira Antivirus Error Code 93 appears again.
- Press the Windows and E buttons together to open the File Explorer window.
- Now, go to the following file locations and delete the avipbb.sys file.
- C:\Windows\System32\drivers
- C:\Windows\SysWOW64\drivers
- Delete all the files named avipbb and remove the Avira folder from the locations mentioned in the next step.
- If you have a Windows 64-bit OS, go to the following location.
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Avira\Antivirus
- For Windows 32-bit, go to C:\Program Files\Avira\Antivirus
- Now, launch the Run dialog box again and type msconfig.
- Select Normal Mode and click OK.
- Now, reboot your computer to fix the Avira Antivirus Error Code 93.
