  • Open the default browser and go to the Bitdefender Central login page.
  • Click the Sign In button and enter the email address in the required field.
  • Navigate to the left-side panel and click the My Devices tab.
  • Next, click the Install Protection button at the top-left corner of the window.
  • Click the Protect this device button and select the Me option.
  • Click the Save button to save the installation file and click the Run button to start the installation process.
  • Wait until Bitdefender downloads all the necessary files.
  • Next, click the Start Using Bitdefender button.
  • Log in to your Bitdefender Central account using the correct email address and password.
  • Click the Finish button and check the "I agree with Subscription agreement" checkbox.

Setup Bitdefender Anti Ransomware Windows 10

Carry out these steps to set up the Bitdefender Anti-Ransomware application on your Windows 10 desktop:

  • First, download the Bitdefender Antivirus 2020 software from the official Bitdefender site.
  • Run the installer to start installing the Bitdefender Antivirus software on your Windows.
  • If you have the Bitdefender Central account, open the default browser and go to the Bitdefender Central login portal.
  • Enter your login credentials in the required fields and click the Sign-In button.
  • Click the My Devices tab in the left-side panel and click the Install Protection button.
  • In the Protect your devices window, click the Protect this device button and select the device owner.
  • Click the Close button and save the installation file.
  • Click the Run button and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation process.
  • Once you have completed the installation, open the Bitdefender dashboard.
  • Click the Enable button near the Ransomware remediation recommendation prompt to counteract encryption and protect your system files.
  • You can access the Ransomware protection settings by clicking the Protection tab at the left-side panel.
  • To protect your device from ransomware threats, always keep the Ransomware Remediation option enabled on your Bitdefender antivirus.
