Fix Bitdefender Error Code 1002
The main reason for the Bitdefender error 1002 is the Internet connection. Check if you are connected to a stable Internet connection. If not, connect your computer to the Internet and then try to update the Bitdefender software. If the error code persists, carry out the steps mentioned below to resolve it.
System Scan
- Launch the Settings window by holding the Win and I keys at the same time
- Select the Update & Security option.
- Click the Windows Security tab on the left-hand side of the screen and select the Virus & threat protection option on the main panel.
- Click the Run a new advanced scan link to open the Advanced Scans window.
- Select the radio button next to the Full Scan option and click Scan now.
- The Windows Defender program will begin to scan the system. Wait until it completes the scan process.
- Once the malware is detected, the program would remove it automatically. Thereafter you won't face Bitdefender error 1002.
