- Check whether the Chrome browser is already open or running in the background.
- To check this, press the Option + Command + Esc keys together.
- Otherwise, click the Force Quit option from the Apple menu at the top-left corner of your screen.
- Select Google Chrome from the displayed list and click Force Quit.
- Now, try re-launching the Chrome browser and check if the issue is resolved.
- If the Chrome Not Opening On Mac, reboot your Mac computer.
- In case you don’t find the Force Quit menu, click the Go menu on the top menu bar.
- Select the Go to Folder option from the displayed list.
- Enter ~/Library/Application Support in the Go to Folder window, hit the Enter key, or click on the Go button.
- Now, locate the folder that is named as Google.
- Right-click on the Google folder and select the Get Info option from the displayed list.
