Comodo Antivirus Mac

  • Before installing the Comodo Antivirus on your Mac computer, check the system requirements to avoid compatibility issues.
  • Connect your Mac computer to the local wireless or wired network and open your Safari browser.
  • Navigate to the official Comodo site and download the antivirus that suits your Mac computer.
  • Make sure to remove the previously installed antivirus on your Mac to prevent the installation errors in the future.
  • After downloading the installer file for Comodo Antivirus, navigate to the Downloads folder.
  • Give a double-click on the installer file to run the Installation Wizard.
  • In the Installer window, select your language from the drop-down menu and click OK.
  • Read the End User License Agreement and agree to the terms and conditions by clicking the “I accept” button.
  • Enter your email address in the required field for the product registration and click Next.
  • In the Confirmation dialogue box, click the Install button.
  • Wait for a few minutes, and the installation will complete when the loading bar ends.
  • If the installation is completed, click the Finish button.
  • Now, restart your Mac computer and activate Comodo Antivirus for real-time protection.
  • Open the Comodo Antivirus software by clicking the CAV icon displayed on the taskbar.
  • In the Comodo Antivirus window, click the Scan Now button to scan your Mac files and folders for malware.
  • Once it is launched for the first time, the Comodo Antivirus application will appear automatically in the Dock panel.
  • If it is not displayed on the Dock panel, give a double-click on Macintosh HD on your Mac desktop.
  • Click the Applications tab and open the Comodo folder.
  • Now, click and drag the Comodo Antivirus icon and place it on the Dock panel to access it easily from your Mac desktop.
