- Double-click the Bitdefender icon on the Taskbar on your Windows computer to open the Bitdefender Antivirus application.
- Click the Settings option from the Protection window.
- Select the Shield tab and click on the Button toggle next to the Bitdefender shield to turn off protection.
- You will be prompted to choose either Disable permanently or until computer restarts.
- To disable the Bitdefender Antivirus program temporarily, select the “Until System Restarts” option.
- Go to the Drives and Devices section and select the Scan Mapped Network Network Drives. Then, disable it.
- Navigate to the Protection Features and locate the Online Threat Prevention module.
- Select the Web Protection option. Now turn off the modules mentioned Phishing Protection, Encrypted Web Scan, Web Attack Protection, Fraud Protection, and Search Advisor.
- Ensure that you disable Network Threat Prevention also.
- Turn off Firewall, Antispam, Advanced Threat Defense, Safe Files, Vulnerability, and Ransomware Remediation.
- Go to the Privacy section and select the Parental Control section. Now, select Configure and click on the More icon.
