Conflicting Programs

  • Windows 10 - Type ‘control panel’ without the single quotes in the Windows search bar. Open the Control Panel window and click the Uninstall a program option.

Step 2

  • Search for the conflicting program from the Programs list and click the Uninstall button.
  • Continue with the on-screen guidelines to complete the uninstallation.
  • You can install this program again after resolving the error code 53.

Virus protection

  • Use the built-in antivirus program on the computer to scan and delete the viruses.
  • The antivirus program must be updated to the most recent version to remove the latest threats.

Installing runtime libraries

  • Uninstall the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributed package and then reboot the computer.
  • Download and install the most recent version of the Redistributed page.
