Enabling the anywhere option in gatekeeper:
- Click on the Apple icon. Go to System Preferences.
- Click on Security and Privacy. Depending on your Mac version, you may see two or three options under the General tab:
- Mac App Store
- Mac App Store and identified developers
- You won't be able to see the Anywhere option. But there is a way actually to enable the option.
- Open the Terminal utility on your Mac and type sudo spctl --master-disable and hit Enter.
- Type the Admin password and hit the Enter key.
- Again go to System Preferences, click on Security and Privacy, and you will be able to see the Anywhere option.
