Some of the most used features or applications of Bitdefender are Bitdefender Online Threat Protection, Bitdefender GravityZone, and Bitdefender Parental Control. The chances for an error to occur with the Bitdefender application are less. However, some issues are encountered by the Bitdefender product users. One such issue is “website block.” Usually, the Bitdefender Online Threat Protection or Parental Control feature blocks a webpage only if it finds something wrong with the requested page. If you’re encountering this issue with the Bitdefender application for the first time, then you can add the IP address of the website that you wish to unblock to the Exception list.
- Launch the Bitdefender application.
- Go to the Protection menu.
- Locate and navigate to the ONLINE THREAT PREVENTION section.
- Click the Settings option followed by Manage exception. In the opened window, you should click on the Add an Exception option.
- Type the IP address of the website that you wish to allow in the given field.
- Make sure that the Online Threat Prevention option is enabled.
- Save the changes and try to access the website that is added to the Exception list.
- If the requested page opens successfully, then you have successfully stopped Bitdefender from blocking that particular website.
- Similarly, add all the other websites that you wish to unblock.
