How to Temporarily Disable Kaspersky 2018?

To disable Kaspersky temporarily, follow the procedure given below.

  • On your Windows home screen, locate the Kaspersky icon on the taskbar.
  • Right-click on the icon and select the Kaspersky Anti-Virus option from the list.
  • The main window of the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2018 software appears on the screen.
  • Click the Gear-wheel icon on the bottom left corner to open the Settings window and navigate to the General tab.
  • Turn Off the switch in the Protection section.
  • Select the Continue tab when a window pops up for confirmation.
  • Go back to the Kaspersky main window and check whether the Protection disabled info appears in red.
  • Close the Kaspersky window to temporarily disable Kaspersky.
  • To enable Kaspersky again, turn ON Protection on the Kaspersky settings.
