Kaspersky Cannot Disinfect The Detected Object

Steps to clear reports on Kaspersky:

Sometimes it is unable to clear the disinfected files as per Kaspersky rules. The file will be locked or moved to the quarantine area; only clearing the reports will help you to solve any issue that has occurred in Kaspersky. Let’s see how to clear reports in Kaspersky.

  • Launch the Kaspersky app on your Windows computer.
  • In the right corner of the window, below Advanced settings , click Reports and Storages.  
  • In the Report parameters section, click the Delete reports button.
  • Now, the Clearing reports window opens.
  • In the Clearing reports window, select the checkbox to delete information.
  • Click All Reports, then click OK , and it will clear all Kaspersky reports.
  • When you select All reports, the entire data from the General protection report, Scan report, Update task report, Firewall report, Data encryption report, and control components report will be deleted.
  • Now, restart your computer and then check if this error occurs again in Kaspersky.

Steps to clear browsing history:

Clearing the browser history will fix the Kaspersky cannot disinfect the detected object issue on your computer.

  • If you are using the Chrome browser, launch the browser.
  • Click the Horizontal line  icon located in the top right corner and then click Settings .
  • On the Settings menu screen, scroll down and click Clear browsing data below the Privacy and security section.
  • Next, select the Advanced tab and then select the checkbox for Browsing history, Download history, other site data, Cookies, and Cached images and files. Now, click clear data .
  • If you want to reset the browser settings, scroll down on the Settings page and then click Advanced .
  • Below the Reset settings section, click Restore settings to their original defaults .
  • If you see a confirmation prompt, click Reset settings. Make sure the checkbox on the screen is selected.
  • Now, restart the computer and check Kaspersky Cannot Disinfect The Detected Object issue has been cleared.
