Method 1: Rename the nvd3d9wrap.dll file

This is the quick solution to fix the graphics driver error on Kaspersky. Your antivirus will open error-free after renaming the file. To do that:

  • Click on the Start button on your computer and move your cursor to the search bar.
  • Enter C:\Program files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\coprocmanager in the search bar and press Enter.
  • Find and right-click on the nvd3d9wrap.dll file and choose Rename.
  • Provide a new name to the file and save the action.
  • Now, open Kaspersky and check whether the error is resolved. If the error continues, then execute the following methods to fix it.

Method 2: Change Registry Entry

  • Hold on to the Windows and R keys on your system. The Run dialog box will appear on the screen. 
  • Enter regedit in the search bar and press OK. 
  • Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
  • Double click on the AppInit_DLLs key and check the value of the string. Check for any comma or punctuation on the string. If there is any, remove the particular comma or punctuation and replace it with space. Finish replacing and save the process.

Method 3: Reset NVIDIA

  • Click on the Start menu and enter NVIDIA in the search bar. Now choose the appropriate result from the list.
  • Open NVIDIA, locate and select 3D settings on the left panel, and select Manage 3D Settings from the drop-down menu. By doing this, you’ll be redirected to the graphics card settings page.
  • In the 3D settings window, click on the Global Settings tab and select Restore.
  • Confirm your selection if prompted and wait for the system to begin resetting the NVIDIA graphics card automatically.
  • Complete the process and access an error-free Kaspersky application.
