  • After installing the Kaspersky product on the computer, click the product icon from the system tray on the desktop.
  • Once the Kaspersky window opens up, click the Settings icon at the lower-left corner.
  • Under Settings, click Protection in the left navigational panel.
  • Go the Safe Money menu in the right panel and click the toggle button to enable it.
  • After that, select OK to save the changes.

Kaspersky Safe Money Chrome

You can add the Kaspersky Safe-Money extension on the Google Chrome browser using the steps below.

  • When you install the Kaspersky product, enable the Safe Money facility and then restart your computer.
  • Next, open the Chrome app on the computer, and the browser prompts to add the new Kaspersky plug-in.
  • Select the Add extension button to add it to Chrome.
  • If you already have old plug-ins on the Chrome, the browser requests to delete them.
  • In case the Chrome doesn’t pop the extension message, click the Hamburger or More icon at the right end.
  • From the list of options, select More Tools and then choose Extensions.
  • Under Extensions, tick the Enable checkbox of the Safe Money plug-in.
  • Finally, close the browser window and relaunch it.

Add the Safe Money on the Firefox browser:

  • Open the Mozilla Firefox browser app on the system and select the Hamburger icon at the upper right end of the window.
  • When different browser options appear, click the Add-ons icon.
  • Following that, the Add-ons Manager window opens up; select the Add-ons icon from the left end.
  • Click the Enable button beside the Kaspersky Safe-Money extension.

Fix Safe Money Kaspersky Not Working Chrome

When you install the Kaspersky product on the computer and add its extension to the Chrome browser, sometimes, the Safe Money Kaspersky plug-in does not work, therefore check out the below measures.

  • Make sure the plug-in is enabled correctly.
  • Go to the Extensions list and check the Safe Money Kaspersky extension.

If you are not able to access any website with the protected browser mode on, consider the below steps when the protected browser does not work properly.

  • Make sure the installed browser is compatible with the Kaspersky product. If it is not, install a compatible browser.
  • Reinstall the web browser if it is compatible.
  • Restart your computer and check if the issue has been resolved.
  • You need to check if the Run Protected Browser feature has been enabled for the Safe Money feature.
  • Launch the Kaspersky product main window on the desktop and click the gear icon at the lower-left corner.
  • On the left side panel, select the Protection menu and then click Safe Money from the right side.
  • The Safe Money Settings menu appears in the window, set the default browser and then tick the checkbox of Run Protected Browser.
  • Close the window and restart the computer.
