Launch the McAfee product on your computer.

Go to the Configuration section.

Choose the Appliances option.

Locate and click the Manual Engine Update button on the Appliances toolbar.

Now, the update will be initiated.

Now, let’s see the procedure for the offline update of McAfee Database software.

Navigate to the Update page of the McAfee Database security software.
Locate and click the vPatch Security Update, VA Security Updates, or Software Updates tab.
Click the For offline installation upload an update file option to update McAfee from a local file.

Choose the installation file by clicking the Browse button.
After selecting the file, click the Upload button.
Now, the McAfee Database update process will be initiated.

To view the update history of your McAfee Database software, follow the below instructions.

Open the Update page of McAfee Database.
Go to the Server Updates or Security Updates tab.
Click on the Updates History button.
