Cause-1: Incorrect AutoUpdate settings
- You can modify the wrong AutoUpdate settings.
- Right-click the Sophos icon on the system tray at the bottom right end of your desktop.
- Now, choose Open Sophos Endpoint Security and Control to open the main interface.
- When the window opens up, navigate to the Updating section and click Configure Updating.
- The Properties for Sophos AutoUpdate window will now open. In this window, click the Primary location tab.
- Now, choose Sophos in the Address field and enter the correct User name and Password to access the update source of Sophos.
- If you are using a proxy network, enter its information in the Proxy Details field.
