How to Uninstall Vipre Without Password?

Vipre is a cybersecurity software that protects your personal data like emails from third-party access. Downloading, installing, and using this security software is quite easy and simple. On this page, we’ll show you how to uninstall Vipre without a password.Generally, this security application uses a VIPRE Password Vault Manager that allows its users to store their strong passwords behind multiple layers of protection. To uninstall Vipre without password, there are two different methods.

Method 1: Modifying ofscan.ini and uninstalling Vipre

On your computer, look for the ofscan.ini file.

Open the file and look for the line that starts with Uninstall_Pwd= !CRYPT!... For example, the line looks similar to: Uninstall_Pwd= !CRYPT!523F81805821877E0B01581347A29A8A7832308289578B8F175DF692BF.

Now, delete the text and number after “Uninstall_Pwd=” and add 70 so that the line looks Uninstall_Pwd= 70.

Save the file.

Go to the Add/Remove Programs window, then select the Vipre software and uninstall it.

Method 2: Modifying the registry editor

First, disconnect your computer from the network if it is connected.
Now, open the Registry Editor window on your computer.
Navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\Misc.]
Change the Allow Uninstall setting from 0 to 1.

Now, go to the Add/remove programs section.
Choose the Vipre antivirus software.
Click the Uninstall/Change button.
Select Uninstall > OK.
Once the Vipre cybersecurity software is uninstalled, restart your computer.
