  • Note: If the McAfee antivirus program is compatible with the updated Windows OS version, disable McAfee and then update Windows 10.
  • Click the Start icon or press the Win key on the keyboard.
  • Type ‘mcafee’ in the Windows search bar and select your McAfee antivirus program from the search results.
  • Navigate to the PC Security tab and select the Real-Time Scanning option.
  • Click the Turn Off option in the main panel.
  • Now, you will see the Turn Off dialog box on the screen.
  • Now, you have to choose any one of the following options from the appropriate drop-down menu and click the Turn Off button.
